Ebony Clay

Proudly born and raised in Houston, Ebony Clay is a graduate of the University of Houston's Jack J. Valenti School of Communication with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications/Media Production and a minor study in Theater.
Prior to joining KUHF, she spent ten years in business administration working in the petrochemicals industry for then Lyondell Chemical Company corporate office. During that time she worked in assisting the tax department with filing state, federal and international taxes. Her career in the radio media industry began in early 2007 with a Marketing and Promotions position at Cox Radio — Houston. Delighted with the opportunity to support local public broadcasting, Ebony joined the KUHF Houston Public Radio team in September 2007.
Having a long-time passion for the performing arts, she made her "Jones Hall debut" at the age of 9 performing in the Inter City Ballet. She has training in modern dance, piano, and the flute. The performing arts have always been an important element in her life and she is proud to work for KUHF as the only station in Houston serving as a "voice for the arts."
