The University of Houston's efforts to transform itself into a Tier One research university are at the core of its campaign to brand itself to attract top students and draw corporate investment. Betsy Gelb of the Bauer College of Business and University of Houston Associate Vice Chancellor Karen Clarke join Andrew Schneider on today's Bauer Business Focus to discuss the value of a good brand, both in business and academia.
Betsy Gelb teaches marketing and entrepreneurship at the Bauer College of Business. Karen Clarke is Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations for the UH system.
