Bauer Business Focus: Joseph Meppelink

Roughly half of all energy consumed in this country goes to ordinary buildings. That's putting a premium on developing building materials and technologies that conserve power use, both to cut utility bills and help the environment. Joseph Meppelink is director of applied research at the University of Houston's Hines College of Architecture. He joins Andrew Schneider on this week's "Bauer Business Focus" to discuss the school's Green Building Components Initiative.
