Today, we chat with a man regarded by many as America’s Greatest Living Playwright, Edward Albee. He was in town earlier this year to attend a performance of his play, At Home at the Zoo, at the University of Houston School of Theatre, where Mister Albee used to direct the annual New Playwrights Workshop. . . .
Three-time Pulitzer-Prize-winner playwright, Edward Albee chats with KUHF’s Bob Stevenson. Mr. Albee was in town earlier this year to attend a performance of his play, At Home at the Zoo, a merger of his very first drama, The Zoo Story, from 1959 with a new first act, Homelife, which debuted in 2004. At Home at the Zoo was the last production to be stage-directed at the University of Houston by Sidney Berger, former head of the U-H School of Theater and Dance. Listen. Download.
