Violinist Itzhak Perlman chats by phone with KUHF’s Dean Dalton. They catch up on the latest developments in Maestro Perlman’s musical life and talk about some of the music that will be offered in Houston when Society for the Performing Arts presents his Jones Hall recital.  Listen.  Download.

Charles Hausmann is the Director of the Houston Symphony Chorus. He will lead his chorus, along with the Houston Symphony, in a performance of Mendelssohn’s St. Paul. The performance is this weekend at Memorial Drive Lutheran Church. Hausmann chats with Dean Dalton.  Listen.  Download.

Franz Anton Krager is the Director of Orchestras at the University of Houston. Betsy Cook Weber is the school’s Associate Director of Choral Studies. They both talk with KUHF’s St. John Flynn about Carl Orff’s Carmina Burrana.
