Today Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Theatre Under The Stars Frank Young tells us about the exciting Broadway musicals coming to town in the new season. Director Matthew Schlief and musicians from the show gives us a preview of Synesthesia, a unique program that combines light and sound, with original music by the Two-Star Symphony. And Founding Director Andrea Cody and artists from two of the featured companies talk about this weekend’s Dance Houston City-Wide Festival, an annual showcase of styles ranging from hip-hop and contemporary to ballroom and ethnic dance.

Director Matthew Schlief and the Two-Star Symphony introduce their new collaborative project, Synesthesia, an original program that infuses light and sound. Violinists Deborah Brown and Jerry Ochoa, violist and toy pianist Margaret Lejeune, and cellist and harpist Jo Bird, along with Director Matthew Schlief all got together in the studio to discuss Synesthesia and share some of its music. Listen.
