KUHF 88.7 Houston Public Radio, is located in the LeRoy and Lucile Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting, in the northeastern corner of the University of Houston campus. If you are a visitor during regular business hours, check in with the receptionist in the main lobby, who will call your party for you or give you instructions on where to go within the building. If you are attending a station tour, meet your tour guide in the main lobby.

  • Heading southbound, away from downtown, on I-45 the Gulf Freeway, exit Cullen Boulevard, stay on feeder and go through the light at Cullen.

  • Turn right at the second entrance (look for the UH sign for building #536 -- LeRoy and Lucile Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting 536).

  • Reserved visitor parking is located in the first two rows, behind Melcher Center.

  • Heading northbound towards downtown, on I-45 Gulf Freeway, take Elgin/ Cullen/ Lockwood exit, turn left on Elgin, and proceed through stoplights at underpass.

  • Turn right into first driveway (look for the UH sign -- building #536).

  • Reserved visitor parking is located in the first two rows, behind Melcher Center.

  • Go south on Pierce, (stay on Pierce -- it becomes the I-45 Gulf Freeway feeder --
    do not enter freeway) through the light at Cullen Boulevard.
