Deborah Chambers joined the staff of KUHF Houston Public Radio in July 2006 as an Account Executive in Underwriting Sales. This native of Los Angeles, California has resided in Houston since 1984. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts from Sacramento State University and studied Motion Picture & Television at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Her work experience in the field of radio and television sales and marketing spans 25 years with such companies as, NBC, CBS, Disney, Radio One, Belo Corporation and Theatre Under the Stars. She was a board member of American Women in Radio and Television (Houston Chapter), a member of the Houston Ad Federation, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the local YMCA.
