Aimée-Mignon P. Drake is the new Director of Major and Planned Giving for KUHF. She has worked nearly a decade in the field of development for such diverse groups as the University of St. Thomas, the Fort Bend County Women’s Center and the Texas Medical Center Library. After forays into public relations and media consulting, Aimée has found the perfect blend for her interests in this new position as a fundraiser for public broadcasting.

After attending the University of Chicago as an undergraduate, Aimée received her Master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. As a playwright, she has twice been selected by Tony Award-winning producer Stuart Ostrow as book writer for his Musical Theater Collaboration Lab - and appeared on The Front Row with the group both times. She was also chosen to participate in a semester-long workshop with Edward Albee at the University of Houston. Given her background in both the arts and in fundraising, she only augmented her status as a longtime listener and supporter when she became a development officer for the station.

Aimée currently lives in Houston with her husband and family.
