Few, if any, predicted the sudden collapse of the Soviet Union and the Russian Revolution 20 years ago. And in the latest issue of Foreign Policy, the cover story, "Everything You Think You Know about the Collapse of the Soviet Union is Wrong," says that that's something to keep in mind in wake of the Arab Spring. Robert Siegel speaks with the author of that article, Leon Aron, about the Soviet collapse - and how it pertains to the revolutions rocking Northern Africa and the Middle East.
