ETHEL jams in the KUHF Performance Studio
We feature two performances from Studio 3-C on today's edition of the program. Founder and Artistic Director Cristian Macelaru stops by with musicians involved in the upcoming presentation of the Crisalis Music Project and the darling's of the Big Apple's contemporary music scene, the string quartet known as ETHEL, rock out on a Friday afternoon . . .

Founder and Artistic Director Cristian Macelaru of the Crisalis Music Project stops into Studio 3-C with Shepherd School Faculty Artist Brian Connelly and a quartet of young string players to offer the little-known Piano Quintet by Max Bruch. They'll offer that piece and others on sunday evening at 7:00 at the Centrum in Spring.  Listen  Download

The string quartet ETHEL performs a site-specific work called In the House of ETHEL tomorrow night in the University of Houston's College of Architecture in an event presented by the University of Houston's Mitchell Center for the Arts.
