Today, in the last of our fundraising editions of the show, Houston Grand Opera General Director Anthony Freud was our guest host. We also learned about a program of modern classical music exploring the idea of Synesthesia and had a visit from 300 year old statesman, inventor and printer Benjamin Franklin. . .

Bass Raymond Aceto plays Fiesco in the Houston Grand Opera production of Verdi's Simon Boccanegra and also the role of The Commendatore in  Mozart's Don Giovanni. He talks about his upcoming performances with TFR Dean Dalton. Listen  Download 

Ritao Porifiris has curated the season opening concert or Houston's Foundation for Modern Music. Cosulting with Dr. David Egaleman of the UT Medical center she has created a program called A Concert of MiXed SiGnALs. They both talk with Dean Dalton about the upcoming program and that curious condition known as synethesia.  Listen  Download 

In celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Franklin, Main Street Theater opens it's 2006-2007 season with the one-man show Benjamin Franklin, Printer, Etcetera.
