Tuesday on The Front Row

Texas Repertory Theatre presents The Fantasticks
We'll hear songs from the longest-running musical in theatrical history, The Fantasticks, performed by members of the cast of the Texas Repertory Theatre's new production of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's gentle, nostalgic love story. . .

We'll also look at another production of political theater that will be playing here in Houston, as we talk with Academy-Award-winning actor/director Tim Robbins about the stage version of George Orwell's 1984 which his Los Angeles troupe, The Actors' Gang, will present this weekend in the Wortham Center's Cullen Theatre, under the auspices of Society for the Performing Arts. . .

And Houston Ballet principal dancers, James Gotesky and Tyann Clement, will tell us about the company's production of Ben Stevenson's, Dracula, currently in revival in the Wortham Center's big hall, the Brown Theatre.

Join us each weekday afternoon at 3:00 for an up-close look at the Houston area arts scene on The Front Row.
