Wednesday on The Front Row
September 19, 2006 5:09:00 am
This year's Sing For Hope gala is Saturday night at the Hobby Center. . .
Also, Holly Vogt Wilkison, the Producing Artistic Director of the city's newest theater company, Pendulum, stops by to talk about her troupe's first production, Boy Gets Girl, a play that deals with issues of sexual obsession, violence against women, and how the sexes perceive each other. . .
And we'll chat with documentary-film-maker, Ric Burns, about his latest opus, a two-part, four-hour portrait of one of the most public, influential and controversial! -- American visual artists of the late twentieth century, Andy Warhol. Mister Burns's piece premieres tomorrow night on public television stations nationwide.
Join us each weekday afternoon at 3:00 for an up-close look at the Houston area arts scene on The Front Row.
