Wednesday on The Front Row

The Wortham Center
We have more opera for you! In the next installment in our series of interviews leading the way to the city's thirteenth annual Theater District Open House, we'll talk with Joy Partain, Associate Director of Public Relations for Houston Grand Opera, about what's coming up on H-G-O's 2006-2007 performance season, and about what delights the company has prepared for visitors who stop by the Wortham Center during this Sunday's Open House. . .

In addition to opera, we talk about dance. . . as we chat with the artistic directors of three of the fourteen dance companies who will show their stuff during this year's Dance Houston showcase this weekend at the Hobby Center. . .

And aptly-named crime-novelist Karin Slaughter will speak with us about her newest page-turner, Triptych, a fictional but explosive, deeply-revealing glimpse into the riptide effects of violence on society.

Join us each weekday afternoon at 3:00 for an up-close look at the Houston area arts scene on The Front Row.
