Kayako Dan, the young assistant conductor fo the Phoenix Symphony and the Phoenix Symphony Guild Youth Orchestra, will lead the AFA Concervatory Orchestra's performance Stravinsky's The Firebird and Morton Gould's American Salute this Friday night at 7:00 in the Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall. Violinist Matthias Arambula is the first violinist of the West Texas A & M University Undergraduate String Quartet. That group will perform on a program featuring AFA faculty ensembles this tonight at 7:00 at the Rothko Chapel. Houston's Fan Factory Theatre Company has mounted the world premiere production of a new comedy by local playwright Tony Esparza. KBBJ: All Access, All the Time, is Mr. Esparza's imagined, behind-the-scenes look at the off-mic interactions, issues and personal lives of the employees of a public radio station.Performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at Houston's Midtown Arts Center, 1423 Holman. Elizabeth Seabolt Mark Carrier play two of the radio-station employees who are characters in the play. They joined Esparza in the KUHF studios for a conversation with TFR Producer Bob Stevenson.
