The program includes Mozart’s final quartet along with Richard Danielpour’s 1992 piece, Shadow Dances. Alison Young hosted choreographers Kiki Lucas and Joe Celej as well as dancer and company manager of Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, Marlana Walsh. Violinist and concertmaster of the Maggini String Orchestra Adam LaMotte with pianist Janet Coleman performed Nigun by Ernest Bloch in KUHF’s Performance Studio 3-C. The duo will give a solo recital including works by Brahms, Handel and de Falla benefiting the Maggini String Orchestra 8:00 this evening at Christ the King Lutheran Church, and as part of the inaugural season of chamber-music recitals presented by the J.S.
