Ben Hall Concedes, But The Journey Continues

"Let's hear it for Benjamin Hall!"
It was an enthusiastic crowd at a watch party in Midtown and Hall remained optimistic until the very end, when he called Parker shortly after 8:30 p.m. to concede.
"Just before I took the stage I called the present incumbent Ms. Parker, and I told her that the numbers may not speak well tonight for us, but this does not end this journey."
Hall told supporters that he entered the campaign in February because he believed in the city and wanted to make sure that the important issues were addressed.
"We have said to City Hall that we deserve and demand better streets. If nothing else, we have said that we must address crime in this city and make areas safe for all. If nothing else, we have challenged the status quo and said that Houston has a better future than its past."
He added a glorious seed has been planted.
"We shall continue to fight for all of the dreams and aspirations of this great community. So, you've not heard the last of Ben Hall or Sandra Hall, Zachary Hall or Benjamin Hall."
Hall conceded to Parker after only 8-percent of precincts had reported.
