According to the Houston professional employment forecast from Robert Half, some 81 percent of CFO's may hire in the second quarter.

Danann Smith with the Houston office of Robert Half says Houston is on a roll.

"We always have the oil and gas industry driving a lot of business and it, you know, filters through into other industries. We, of course, have one of the best medical centers in the world, if you will, so again that filters through to other professions. It's just a great economy. The state of Texas, in general, has a very good, positive, attractive economy for companies."

Nineteen percent of those CFO's surveyed say they'll definitely add new positions, and another 62 percent expect to fill positions in the coming months, as they become available.
