Musicians from the Greenbriar Consortium treat us to songs and instrumental pieces that explore the competing aesthetics between some of the Old World’s cultural capitals: Paris and Vienna, and Constantinople and Venice. The Consortium offers a concert program about the “Great Rivalries” between those cities.
Isabelle Ganz (vocals and shawm), Anne Leek (oboe), Dan Strba (viola), Erin Foster Ghanem (qanun), and Paul Boyd and Molly Hammond (piano), perform and talk with Bob Stevenson.
