Students were monitoring computer screens and cell-phone screens. But there was that one big moment when almost all eyes were on the big television screen with CNN election coverage.

"CNN projects Barack Obama will be re-elected President. [cheers] "

Paul O'Brien, a freshman and a Romney supporter was disappointed. He came to watch party optimistic about a Romney win.

"I was hopeful. It was close. It was up in the air, but it is what it is now."

O'Brien's major issue is abortion. He's pro-life and supported Romney for his stance.

Obama supporter Trixie Bermuda Jones voted for the first time yesterday. And she came to the watch party hopeful, but nervous.

"Throughout the course of the night it was a little, you know,50/50, iffy-iffy.  But you know, Obama prevailed in the end."

Jones says making college more affordable is one of her top issues.
