Greater Houston Partnership Announces Support Of Election Bond Proposals

The Greater Houston Partnership's board of directors approved resolutions supporting bond proposals of the City of Houston, HISD and Houston Community College.

Partnership board chairman Tony Chase says it's about the future:

"We thoroughly reviewed each of the bond proposals, not only what the request was, but specifically, how the money would be spent. In addition to that, was analyzed the aggregate impact of the indebtedness in the bonds, and we endorse them all."

The two school bond proposals will upgrade building campuses and technology, while Houston's bond package deal with public safety, affordable housing and green space.
