Greater Houston Partnership Names Bob Harvey As New CEO

The Greater Houston Partnership has named Bob Harvey as its new chief executive officer.

Harvey moves into the CEO spot with a background in consulting, energy, and finance. He worked for the Houston office of McKinsey & Company for seventeen years, then served six years as vice chair of Reliant. Since 2005, he’s run his own venture capital firm.

“It’s such a great opportunity for me now to be directly involved with the Partnership, to work with the members, the board, the staff, and the whole community, advancing the objective of regional prosperity and opportunity.”

Harvey replaces Jeff Moseley, who stepped down as CEO this spring. He formally takes up his new post on Monday, September 17.
