ERCOT Debuts Energy Saver Mobile App

"We're already starting to look toward some high temperatures and high electric demand next week. It will notify you when ERCOT really needs you to conserve energy the most. Going into summer, we do think we'll have enough electric generation, but there will be times this summer that we will be calling on people to help conserve."
ERCOT will also get the word out about emergency energy conservation through Facebook and Twitter.
