KUHF Conversations: Stephen Klineberg On Houston's Attitude Toward Income Inequality and Government Help vs. Cutting The Deficit

One of the more notable findings of this year's Houston Area Survey is the significant increase in the percentage of people who agree with the suggestion that the government should help narrow the income gap between the rich and poor. But, at the same time, people are sharply divided between the need for government programs, and the need to reduce the federal debt. Rice University sociology professor and Kinder Institute for Urban Research Stephen Klineberg and KUHF's David Pitman continue their conversation on this year's survey results.

On Friday, April 24th, Klineberg will present a special film and Q&A session on this year's Houston Area Survey. It begins at 6:30 at Discovery Green, downtown.
