New Amtrak Line for Northeast Texas?

Texas transportation officials are studying the viability of a new Amtrak line in northeast Texas. The 200-mile route would follow the I-20 corridor between Dallas-Fort Worth and Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana — a popular gambling destination. Three Amtrak lines currently serve Texas.
