Botanist Dawn Stover of the Mast Arboretum at Stephen F. Austin State University talks about the types of flowers so realistically depicted by 17th-Century Dutch artist, Willem van Aelst, in his still-life paintings currently on view at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. That’s the topic of Ms. Stover's “Artful Thursday” lecture, The Temptational Tulip, this week at the MFAH.
Eric Ladau chats with Dawn Stover.
