Montreal-based performance artist, Dulcinea Langfelder, describes her sort-of Brechtian cabaret piece that mixes live music, dance, puppetry, and electronic media. Don Quixote’s ideal woman, Dulcinea del Toboso, is the springboard for an entertaining exploration into the ways cultural traditions, myths, religions and literature have imagined their heroines throughout history. Society for the Performing Arts presents Dulcinea’s Lament, Saturday evening at the Wortham Center.
