Houston-based writer, Ryan Call, is author of the short-story collection, The Weather Stations. Last night in New York City, he was named one of the ten winners of this year’s prestigious Whiting Writers’ Awards. He chats about what this breakthrough honor means to him and his up-and-coming literary career.
