Perry Comes To Houston

Texas Governor and GOP presidential hopeful Rick Perry makes a stop in Houston tomorrow night as he prepares for his third debate next week.

Perry will give the keynote speech at the Lone Star Survivor Gala tomorrow night at Minute Maid Park. The Governor has spent the past few days crisscrossing the nation after his Tea Party debate earlier this week.

Today in Iowa he continued to hammer GOP primary opponent Mitt Romney over his health care record as Governor of Massachusetts.

The next GOP primary debate is set for next Thursday in Orlando. It's sponsored by Fox News. Governor Perry has participated in two debates so far and has rocketed to the top of the polls since he entered the Republican race last month.

Earlier this week, Perry was criticized by GOP rival Michelle Bachman over his executive order in 2007 that school-aged girls should be given the HPV vaccine. That order was later overturned by the state legislature. Perry has defended the move as the state's attempt to save lives.

Bachman has implied it was more about campaign donations by the maker of the vaccine.
