Heinrich Kuhn: The Perfect Photograph

We visit the Museum of Fine Arts Houston to look at Heinrich Kühn: The Perfect Photograph, the first major retrospective in the U.S. devoted to the early 20th-Century Austrian photographer and scientist, who was able to re-create the atmospheric effects of Impressionist paintings in his camera-work.

This exhibition was organized by Monika Faber, Chief Curator of Photography at The Albertina Museum in Vienna and the world's recognized authority on Heinrich Kühn. Anne Wilkes Tucker, Curator of Photography at the MFAH, coordinated the exhibit in Houston. The two curators spoke with Meghan Hendley.
