The Front Row - Rice University
April 20, 2011
Visual artist Mary Temple shows around her latest installation, Northwest Corner, Southeast Light, in which she has painted patches of leaf-dappled light on the floor and walls of the Rice University Gallery, creating the illusion that soft, partially-shaded sunshine is spilling into the room through tree-branches and windows that don’t exist.
Meghen Hendley heads over to the gallery to take a look at the installation and talk with Mary Temple.
