Laura Schlecht is the producer of the Houston edition of the annual movie-making competition, the 48-Hour Film Project. Wayne Slaten heads one of the local participating film-making teams, Fire Pig Productions. They speak with KUHF’s Bob Stevenson. The 2010 Houston running of the 48-Hour Film Project gets underway tomorrow evening at 7:00PM and all of the finished films must be submitted by 7:30 PM on Sunday in order to be eligible for prizes. The films created during this year’s Houston competition will be packaged together into five different programs which will each be screened twice, next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at various times each evening, at the Studio Movie Grill - City Centre, in the Town and Country Mall.
