The Galveston Historical Society presents the first of this summer's Restoration Chamber Music recitals. The Series' three Artistic Directors, Houston Symphony Principal Cellist, Brinton Averil Smith … pianist Evelyn Chen … and Evan Leslie -- in this instance, playing percussion -- are joined by the Houston Symphony's new concertmaster, Frank Huang, to perform Nocturnes by Chopin … a Trio by Beethoven … and the piece that gave the concert its title, John Cage's "Living Room Music." The performance is Saturday evening at the Moody Mansion. The musicians all gather in KUHF's Geary Performance Studio for a preview session hosted by St. John Flynn. Listen Download
