Today, seven of North America's finest violinists – including a master of the traditional Chinese fiddle known as the "Er-Hu" – all of them come together as Bowfire – join us for a studio performance of music from Holiday Heartstrings, the festive new fiddling showcase that they'll première tonight at Jones Hall. And, Houston-based chanteuse, Deborah Boily, shares tracks from her new CD collection of French cabaret songs, which she will perform live this weekend at Ovations...
Cabaret singer Deborah Boily, with pianist Hal Lanier, performs selections from Ms. Boily's new CD, French Collection…Deux, and its earlier companion volume, Saturday night at 9:00PM and Sunday evening at 7:00PM at Ovations, the nightclub on Times Boulevard at Kirby in Rice Village. There's a cover charge payable at the door, or you can order your tickets in advance through the box office of Ovations' next-door neighbor, Main Street Theater. St. John Flynn sits down for a conversation with Deborah and they sample some tracks from both CD's. Listen Download
