KUHF Conversations: Recycled Homes

A tour of some unconventional homes will be held this weekend in Huntsville. The homes were built using materials salvaged from other home builders. It's the work of the Phoenix Commotion, an organization that builds homes mostly with leftover building supplies — put together by unskilled labor — to create another option for low-income housing. Dan Phillips is the founder of Phoenix Commotion, and he was in our studios a while back to talk about his efforts with David Pitman.
A tour of some of the 14 homes that the Phoenix Connection has built in the Huntsville area is set for tomorrow, November 27th.  More information and registration details can be found at livingparadigm.org.
