Sid Davis is Director of Music and Fine Arts at Houston's Saint Luke's United Methodist Church. He conducts the Saint Luke's Chancel Choir and Early-Music Ensemble in the U-S Première of Eternal Light: A Requiem, by British composer, Howard Goodall this Sunday at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary at Saint Luke's on Westheimer at Edloe. Admission is free. Davis and Goodall chat with KUHF's St. John Flynn. Dr. Brian Herrington, faculty composer at Sam Houston State University, directs the school's contemporary-music ensemble, Intersection in its debut Houston concert, Invention and the Aftermath. This program of commissioned, World Première works by emerging young American and International composers, takes place this evening at 7:30PM in the Moores Opera House.
