Houston Early Music presents recorder-player Piers Adams and his British period-instruments ensemble, Red Priest, as they perform their Halloween-appropriate program of diabolical Baroque music. Nightmare in Venice tomorrow evening at 7:30PM at Trinity Episcopal Church at the corner of Holman and Main Streets in Houston's Midtown. Tickets will be available at the door. Our producer Bob Stevenson, speaks with clarinetist Richard Nunemaker and Raúl Orlando Edwards, Artistic Director of the Foundation for Modern Music, which presents the concert, Nunemaker and Friends, tonight at 8:00PM in Duncan Recital Hall at Rice University.  The program features Nunemaker, the Shepherd School of Music Clarinet Ensemble and some of Mr. Nunemaker's professional colleagues from the Houston Symphony and the Shepherd School faculty in music of Steve Reich, Jody Rockmaker and Rice University faculty composers, Richard Lavenda and Arthur Gottschalk.  Tickets will be available at the door.
