Lutenist and oud-player, Slobodan Vuijsic, is the founder and director of the planet's newest early-music ensemble, the Austin Troubadours. Although based in the Texas State capital, the Troubadours make their world debut, Friday evening at 7:30PM here in Houston … at Christ Church Presbyterian on Bellaire Boulevard. Pianists Ivana Ristova and Krume Andreevski perform keyboard works by Chopin, Liszt and Ravel, tomorrow evening at 7:30PM in the Dunham Theater at Houston Baptist University's Morris Performing Arts Center.  Tickets will be available at the door. Proceeds from box-office sales will help defray the medical expenses of 27 year old Iva Milenkovic from Macedonia, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer at the Deke Slayton Cancer Center in Webster, Texas, under the guidance of physicians from the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center here in Houston. Ristova and Andreevski perform excerpts from the benefit concert in the KUHF's Geary Performance Studio.  Listen Download
