KUHF's Catherine Lu speaks with Reggie Delgado, the Artistic Director of Houston's Sol y Luna Dance Company, hip-hop dancer Juan Jimenez, who will appear as a clown in the troupe's latest amalgamation of contemporary dance and the circus arts, Rêver – To Dream … and with Boston-based trapeze and weight-sharing specialists and acrobats, Chloe Nasser and Ben Kirsch. Sol Y Luna presents Rêver, a family-oriented production for all ages, Friday and Saturday evening at 7:00PM at the Freneticore Theater on Navigation Boulevard near Lockwood on the City's east side. Painter Stephanie Toppin and creator of sculptural objects, Katy Heinlein, are two of the ten Houston-based visual artists who were awarded cash prizes by the Artadia Foundation in its most recent grant-round, and whose latest works are on display in the group show, $TIMULUS in the gallery at DiverseWorks.
