Joseph Rawley is the Voice of the Soldier in
Opera Vista’s production of one of the winning entries in its 2007 Opera Competition, a multi-media solo cantata,
Soldier Songs, by New Jersey composer, David T. Little. This year’s
Opera Vista Festival – presented in collaboration with the
Nova Arts Project -- concludes with a performance of
Soldier Songs, Saturday night at 8:00PM in the Lyndall Finley Wortham Theatre at the Mitchell Center for the Arts, on the University of Houston’s Central Campus. Rawley sings excerpts from Soldier Songs in the Geary Performance Studio.
