From the Anheuser-Busch Stage at Discovery Green in Downtown Houstonm, we have three live performances on this special edition of our show including Ray Benson and his band, Asleep at the Wheel, who have stopped by on their way to Galveston's Grand 1894 Opera House, where, this weekend, they're going to present encore performances of A Ride with Bob, their tribute to Western Swing pioneer, Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. We also hear from Austin's Invincable Czars as the prepare to play the score on tonight's Silent Film presentation presented by KUHF...

Violinist Yeagy Park and duo-pianists Liana Wang and Ethan Le are three of the forty-seven classical musicians under the age of nineteen, who appear on this year's Houston Young Artists' Concert, tomorrow in the Dunham Theatre at the Morris Cultural Arts Center on the campus of Houston Baptist University. The Austin-based band, The Invincible Czars, is spending the day here at Discovery Green in downtown Houston. This evening they'll be back on stage to perform the original musical score they've devised to accompany KUHF's screening of Fritz Lang's 1921 silent film classic, Destiny, a fable of love, life and death.Listen.
