The Front Row, Wednesday, 12/16/2008

Today, Alley Theatre resident actor Todd Waite talks about his role as a guy who works as one of Santa's elves in the Macy's Department Store holiday display, in the Alley's stage version of David Sedaris's hilarious memoir, The Santaland Diaries.

We sample some of the original jazz, rhythm-and-blues, and gospel numbers featured in The Twelve Ways of Christmas, the Ensemble Theatre's joyous Yuletide musical, written, composed and conducted by the Reverend Carlton Leake, who joins us, along with cast member, Anthony Glover.  Also, Artistic Director Jason Nodler takes us into a world of superheroes, Shakespeare and telemarketing, in Mickle Maher's Spirits to Enforce, the latest offering by The Catastrophic Theatre.
