The Front Row, Monday, 11/10/2008

Today, faculty artists from both the Shepherd and Moores Schools of Music -- violinists Kenneth Goldsmith and Kyung-Sun Lee, and violist Ivo-Jan van der Werff -- perform Mozart and Dvorák live for us, previewing the recital they'll present Wednesday evening at Rice University.
Harpsichordist Richard Egarr talks about the Houston Early Music performance of Book One of J.S. Bach's Well-Tempered Klavier that he'll give tomorrow evening at First Unitarian-Universalist Church.  And Natasha Trethewey, winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, reads some of her verses for us, preparing the way for her appearance on the Inprint/Brown Reading Series tonight at the Alley Theatre.
